Masvingo hosted the largest Sanganai/Hlanganani Dzimbabwe tourism expo to date, as the event concluded today with a record 405 exhibitors and 153 buyers participating. The high turnout signals renewed confidence in Zimbabwe’s tourism sector and its potential to attract investment and visitors.
Organizers highlighted the expo’s role in connecting local tourism operators with international buyers, showcasing destinations, hospitality services, and cultural experiences. The expanded participation compared to previous years reflects growing interest from regional and global markets.
The Sanganai/Hlanganani platform has become a key driver for promoting Zimbabwe as a competitive travel destination. With more exhibitors and buyers on site, stakeholders expect stronger business linkages and increased tourism arrivals in the coming season.
As the expo closes, industry players are looking ahead to converting the connections made in Masvingo into concrete deals that will support economic growth and job creation across the tourism value chain.
